Ted lives in Jackson and has an Independent Insurance Agency.

I am very proud of my children and their commitment to serve the Lord in their everyday lives.

I started in the insurance business 42 years ago and still stay active in my own agency. Along with my agency I serve as the president of the State Farm PAC  which has allowed me to stay active in our states political future.

Some of my Interest includes my farm and house in Copiah County. I love to spend time there with my sons and grandsons hunting ,fishing and shooting sporting clays.

Another hobby I enjoyed has been salt water fishing and cruising on my boat ,the Isle Agree, docked in Ocean Springs Harbor. Cruising the coastal shores from Florida to Texas has been so much fun and I am constantly amazed at our Lord's creations and the wonderful people I meet.

Since CHS

After leaving CHS I attended MSU. Not being a stellar student at that time, I left school for the U. S, Armed Services. The Army experience was very beneficial and helped pave the process for returning to MSU and receiveing my Bachelor of Science degree. Meeting new people at Miss State was always fun and allowed me to serve the school in several Alumni positions.

For many years I stabled, trained and bred Arabian horses. This was a wonderful time with the family but ended up being prohibitive as the boys matured and private school and college became a reality.

Another hobby I enjoyed was officiating football for 20 years in the Ms High School Officials Association. This enabled me to call several state championship games.  Some of the most interesting times involved coming back to CHS and calling some of their games and seeing the  development of the school and their facilities.

CHS Years

The Smiles We Gave to One Another:

Being Five foot four and weighing a hundred and seventeen pounds in the ninth grade. The girls all started wearing high heels--Great!!!

Dwight's smooth move from 2nd base to 1st. And some of the articles he wrote on CHS sports for the Clinton News.

Buddie Butts calling time out because he was so tired and then standing lecturing us in the  huddle about not being fired up. The look Dave Garriga gave him was a classic. This happened almost every game every year.

Mrs O'Leary telling us to check our drawers at the end of a lab caused McPhearson and I to clean the supply room for a week after we checked our drawers :)

Art Pearson coming to CHS ... I am still smiling... what a great addition to our class.

The look on  Coach Burkett, Brooks, and Smiths faces my sophmore year when they realized  I was not going to be 6'6 like my older brother. Most of the girls were still taller---Great!!

All of my class mates being great friends and praying for me when my future was uncertain.  Thank you

I went over every one on our class roster and remembered  a conversation, a smile and of course some time together with each one of you. This brought back wonderful memories.
