All my kids and GrandKids are great ......all have stayed out of jail.  They are my life!

Brother Ottis and Mary Helen live in Arlington Texas still enjoying retirement.  His daughter Lisa and husband Toa also live there and son John and his wife Cheryl live in Havana Florida.

Sister Paulette and Doug still live in Terry Ms ....... , Paulette is keeper of the old homestead on Magnolia Road ...... Mom and Dad passed about a year apart several years ago ...... they would have so much fun enjoying all the family .... they never got to see the whole present family(ies) ... they smiling in heaven no doubt.

ME:  My plan'd retirement as Director of Construction/Renovations from UMMC happened June 1st 2015.  38 years of service and Honarable mention in the Dinosaur Club.

Concurrent with this, my unplan'd retirement from marriage happened (officially) July 2015 after ... let's just say plenty of years !!!! Evidently ladies can only put up with me 20 or 30 years or so .... and then they need a break ... go figure !!! A year later i have recovered well, and adjusted to receiving a check each month for doing what i want to..... somebody should have told me about this earlier.  I live at the Rez in Cliffview Subdivision right across from the public boat ramp at WaterWood Subdivision at the end of Spillway road.  My pontoon and my 15 foot jaspagool boats stay at the ready for immediate launch should the need or feeling arise.

Since CHS

After graduation and a short career in the KooterQueen House Boat Franchise Business i graduated at Hinds Jr.

Went on to Mississippi Southern and got BS in Architecture.

Went to work for Barlow and Plunkett Architects in jackson.  In May of 1977 took position at UMMC Physical Plant .. later to become Director of Construction as part of the Planning Design and Construction Division.  Worked there forever(38 years), retiring in 2015.

Now living at Rez .... raising a Cocker Spaniel that is 14 years old, deaf as a doorknob and can't see beyond about 12 " ............ my golden years!!!  Enjoying retirement but since i do not have any "plant/flowers" knowledge like Larry Trest, i graciously have to pay a yard guy to do lawn and bushes ...... but have more time to fish..... also, it keeps the Home Owner's Association at bay .... unlike Mr. Trest's blatent and repeated dis regard for neighborhood standards and controls (as he recently made reference in his FaceBook postings).  Probly seeing a pattern here that began at RobinHood years ago ?

CHS Years

1. Actually "learning" some latin words/phrases etc. ... many of which i have relied upon for many years and even continue to use today.

2.  Coming in number two behind Tiger Pennington for the "YOU have no business playing high school football at 120 lbs and 125 lbs respectfully.  Although Tiger stuck it out...... i gave it up (one of those 10% per Coach) once i got those 4th degree burn to my leg from heat lamp treatment for pulled groin ........... developed into a very interesting scar.

3.  Cherry Vodka on the senior trip bus to Pensacola ... and later in the motel room.
