After graduation and a short career in the "Kooter Queen Party Boat Franchise Business" .......
attended Hinds Jr. College taking Architectural Drafting course.

Military draft was heating up ............new i was a "goner" so went an extra quarter at Hinds "waiting" for the hook. Then "lottery" came about and got a pretty high number ......... decided I may could make it through Southern.
Wound up getting married (firstgorounder) while at Southern ......

graduated 1970 with BS in Architectural Technology ........ moved back to Jackson and went to work for Barlow and Plunkett Architects.

1977 came to work for University Medical Center and have stayed ever since. Presently Assist. Director for Construction/Renovations in Physical Facilities Division. Remarried, Merry also works at Medical Center for Medicine Department.

Reagan (21) met her hubby, Alan while working at Med. Center .... they were married in May last year and Alan is doing his internship at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte N. C. ......... Reagan is going to Nursing School there too. They hope to come back to Jackson once Alan completes internship. My "big break" ...... daughter marrying a "Doctor" !! But he's gona specialize in Emergency Surgery ....... I'm hopefull we'll never need his service ....... I'm hoping I can get him to change to Geriatrics.
Jay (24 i think) and Renea were married in August of last year ..... they live on Lakeland drive in Flowood. Jay works for Pennington and Trim Alarm Service and Renea is working at Ms. Jeanne's Daycare Center in Brandon.
Mandy (16) is youngest ..... will be a senior at Brandon next year ...... makes great "grades" just like her dad did ... A's B's.

Kids are all great and none of them have been in jail or Prison yet. Not a papaw yet but anything can happen at any time, I guess.

My mom and dad are still holding the hill down out on old vicksburg road and they are in pretty good health. Sister Paulette lives in Terry and brother Ottis lives in Fort St. Lucie Florida but is in process of moving to Dallas.

Have been living in Brandon for a long time now ...... we live in the "famous" part of town ..... just a couple of blocks from Mary Ann Mobley's house. I wasn't sure I'd like it at first but Brandon is a lot like Clinton used to be before it sprawled out so much. Once you know the areas to avoid .... like Robinhood forest ... or resort or whatever it's called to the south .... it's a pretty good area to be in. The biker rejects and "flower children" at Robinhood are allways causing problems for the rest of us and the Sherif's Department.

Hobbies: Hunting and Hunting and doing projects outside so I can avoid "painting" inside the house. How can women come up with all this got to be painted stuff inside ....... all the time ????
