Now

As you can see from our address, we haven't gone too far.  Lived in same house since Medical School graduation in 1974!  Of course, a couple of remodels.  I have left Primary Care since 1997 and have been practicing as a hospital-based psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist.  St. Dominic Hospital and Three Oaks Behavioral Health of Ridgeland have been my main locations.

Sue bought Cascades Swim Club in 1988 and expanded it to Cascades Racquet Club with 8 tennis courts and a fitness center, so we have just hung around.  Our four children and 16 grandchildren are enough excitement.

Greg (45 years old) is now owner of the Racquet Club, Indian Lanes Bowling Alley and serving as Clinton City Alderman.

Jennifer (42 years old) has danced and choreographed in New York, New Jersey, and Europe.  She is in Clinton now, married to Kirby Orme, MD and raising her kids full time.

Kevin (39 years old) is an administrator and coach at Alabama's School for Deaf and Blind in Talladega, AL.

Brian (35 years old) has been head basketball coach at St. Andrews in Ridgeland for 8 years.

Since CHS

Left Clinton High for 3 years of baseball and Pre-med at Millsaps College.  UMC Medical School graduate in 1974 with Residency in Psychiatry and Family Practice.  Lots of both in the past 42 years!  Had to leave the arena of Tournament Basketball and Softball 30 years ago, and went into serious tennis.  I am ranked #1 in MS in Men's Singles and #82 Nationally in Men's Singles, so a significant amount of our travel and recreation involves tennis. Of course, participation in L.D.S. Church often approaches a full-time job, too!  Sue and I both have been blessed in having sufficient health and means to work, play, travel, and enjoy family.  Our hope is to continue all of it "till we are old" - whatever that means!

CHS Years

Of course my Uncle Jerry and I joined you guys in the 9th Grade, my coming from Hardy Junior High and he from Anaheim, CA.  No possible way to recount all our fun and memories, but "The Robe," baseball with Coach Echols, and every day in English Class (weird, huh?) are the best times for me.  Most of CHS knew my constant conflict with Coach Burkett, but 10 years later, he became my patient and we had a great time together until his death - you never know, huh?
