Carl Mulvihill

Carl and Sarah

Well, after years hiding under a barrel, here I am and ready to tell you all what my life has looked like up to now.  From High School, I joined the Air Force and stayed there for four years. Viet Nam was raging and I expected to be sent there but instead I was stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska for my entire time.

After the Air Force, I attended Hinds Jr. College for a year and a half. Should have kept going but didn't. I got a job drafting with an engineering firm and did that for several years.

In 1978 I met and married the former Sarah Garland. She was at that time my salvation and has been for 36 years.

I was working for an Oil Company doing drafting when my wife, Sarah, and I had our daughter, Keeley. She was born with multiple anomolies and we both lost our jobs at that time. But we made it through that and she is now fine and a mother to be.

After that I started a security company with armed guards, alarm sales and installation and investigations. That company made it for 3 years before it failed.

I then started working as a surveyor on a contract basis. Several Engineering firms used me for their surveys and I enjoyed that.  I was a surveyor for the rest of my working life until I retired at the age of 62.

Now you know my life's story.  At present my wife and I live in Pearl, MS and I do almost nothing and I love it!

I wouldn't trade my life for anybody else's. I have enjoyed it and it's been a good life all in all.
