Barbara Neal Selby

Now

After 34 years of teaching I retired to take on my favority job yet, being a grandmother.  I am lucky enough to have my granddaughters close by so I care for them often.

B.B. and I attend Providence Presbyterian Church, we are members of Main Street, supporters of the Clinton Nature Center, and I am a former president of the Clinton Arts Council.

Since CHS

After graduating from CHS I went to Mississippi College and received my BS in Ed, and followed that with my M. Ed. in '76.  I taught school in Hinds County and Clinton for most of my career.  I subed briefly in Harrison County when we lived in Biloxi.

We have three children.  Easton is the Chair of the Department of Visual Arts at Coastal Carolina Univeristy, Abbey works at St. Dominic's Ambulatory Care, and Neal is a secretary for a law firm in Clinton.

CHS Years

I am most grateful to the teachers and staff at CHS for the wonderful background I received.
